Penn State account holders
Penn State IT discovered suspicious activity on the University network on [DATE]. As part of normal security response procedures, you should change your password [IMMEDIATELY].
How to change your password
Go to the Account Management dashboard at accounts.psu.edu/password/change and follow the prompts.
IMPORTANT! After changing your password:
Refer to the Knowledge Base article: After You Change Your Penn State Password to learn about additional steps you may need to take and find resources for any issues you may encounter.
Faculty and Staff: If you have a University-owned device AND you use your Penn State user ID and password to log into it, refer to any instructions your IT Unit may have recently provided to you for changing your password. If you have not received specific instructions from your IT Unit, follow the instructions outlined in one of the following Knowledge Base articles that are relevant to your situation:

Note: It may take up to an hour for Office 365 applications and Canvas to recognize your new password.
